Traditionally held on the last bank holiday weekend of the summer, the seaside town bustles with street trading, bargaining, traditional music, dancing, horse trading, amusements, artisan markets and much more.
On the last Tuesday of August each year the famous "Ould Lammas Fair" of Ballycastle is held. It is a real old time festival, the main characteristics of which have been wonderfully preserved down to the present day.
